This is a nice little hotel in the middle of Sidney and met my expectations for a bargain hotel night. The hotel was a little hard to find as it's not near the freeway exit but inside the town about a mile away. The hotel was still the Sidney Inn when I stayed but they had re-branded everything to Rodeway in preparation for the change effective October 1. The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. The facility is obviously an older property but it was clean, quiet and comfortable. All of the room amenities (fridge, microwave, bathroom, etc.) worked well and while the property is older, it appears to be well taken care of unlike some other bargain properties. The hotel didn't have (that I could find) a guest elevator likely due to the fact that it wasn't required when the property was built, but it is only 2 floors so that wasn't a big deal. I only stayed 1 night on a cross-country trip so I cannot comment on the food or amenities around the hotel. The continental breakfast was instant oatmeal, a couple of types of cold cereal, and I think that they had a waffle maker and coffee. I didn't actually eat the breakfast there as I opted for another option but I did take a quick look to see what they had. The Internet service in the room I was in was great. Overall this property met my expectations for the price paid and other than a little trouble finding it (Verizon does NOT serve this area well at all so I had no data and no map) it was a good place to stay the night. Quiet and safe.

I anticipated a kitchenette type of room as I had items needing a freezer. The first room had a very tiny fridge so the nice desk clerk gave us a different room. They also helped me carry a heavy cooler up the steps as it had no elevator and in the morning they helped me carry it down and load into my car.

This is an older motel that the owners are re-vamping. They have done a nice job of keeping everything clean and the newer paint and floor make it look nice. It is just off of one of the "busy" streets in Sidney, but it was quiet and comfortable. The price can't be beaten for what you get.

Don

The staff were very kind and welcoming. The room was quiet, and everything was in good condition and worked just fine. It's nothing fancy, but it absolutely served my needs and I would definitely stay here again if I were in Sidney.

Jeffrey

Firstly the price for what you get is great. Feels newly renovated. Some minor things needed touching up in the room but it was purely aesthetic. Would definitely recommend and stay again
